Crocker's Boat Yard, located on Manchester Harbor, is a full service, family owned and operated yard established in 1946 by S. Sturgis Crocker. Sturgis is the son of the late Samuel S. Crocker, internationally known yacht designer.Sturgis, a well-known boat builder, and his wife Eileen, developed the business into a well-respected boat yard.

In the early years, Sturgis operated the boat yard and built boats designed by his father. From the mid sixties on, the yard has become more focused on the restoration, repair, maintenance and storage of boats. Crocker's Boat Yard currently employs an average of 20 full and part-time year-round employees and is managed by Sturgis' grandson Skip; son, Sam; and daughter, Kitty.There is over 100 years combined experience in the yachting industry at Crocker's Boat Yard, contributing to the excellent care given to every detail of yacht restoration, repair and maintenance.

Crocker's continually keeps abreast of the new and innovative aspects of yacht repair and maintenance. We are knowledgeable in wood, fiberglass, sail and power yachts, and offer a full range of services and marine supplies for all types of boats.
